I’m Dr. Christine Truhe, a licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, strengthen resilience and create meaningful change. Since 2013, I have been proud to be part of the outstanding team at Integrative Psychology Services. My practice focuses on adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, work life issues, and the emotional impact of military service. My treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, stress management, meditation, integrating spirituality when of interest. I strive to create a compassionate, practical, and respectful environment where clients feel heard and supported as they address challenges, build resilience, and enhance their quality of life. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from The College of New Jersey. I completed specialized training in geropsychology through the American Psychological Association and in military psychology through the Center for Deployment Psychology in Bethesda, Maryland. I am a member of the American Psychological Association. Beyond my professional work, I am the Founder of Bonds of Courage in Westfield, New Jersey. I have been honored to receive recognition from military, state, and local organizations for my professional and community service. My 2 adult children, their spouses, and my grandchild are the heart of my life. As an international exhibiting photographer, I enjoy capturing the beauty found all around us. Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping people find strength during difficult times and move toward greater well-being, purpose, and connection.
