Cheryl Provost is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Kean University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
She is a compassionate social worker with over 10 years of experience counseling and supporting those struggling with depression, anxiety, medical illness stress, care giver stress and financial challenges Adults of all ages including young adults are her specialty. She has an ability to deeply empathize with others and is committed to supporting and helping those experiencing challenges as they go through their personal journeys.
Along with her experience as a social worker, she has been an EMT first responder for over 20 years. She has an understanding of the stress and dedication of first responders and their loved ones. In addition, as a volunteer with the Medical Reserve Corps, she has extensive experience working with those effected emotionally and physically by COVID-19.
She works with her clients knowing that they are all unique individuals and one size does not fit all. Together with you, Cheryl will create a safe environment and will work with you to achieve your goals. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness approaches to help ease the challenges of life.
In her free time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and horseback riding.
