Justine obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College School of Social Work. Justine also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law--Newark. Her previous experience includes 20 years of working on an ACT Team, inpatient psychiatric unit, county jail, state correctional facility, at public interest law firms, on crisis lines and in private therapy practice. Justine enjoys working with a wide range of behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, co-occurring disorders and trauma. Justine utilizes an integrative approach specifically designed to meet the needs of each individual and uses techniques from a variety of methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Grief Work, Insight-Oriented Therapy, Mindfulness Based CBT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Supportive Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. Justine practices Rogerian unconditional positive regard during the treatment process and prioritizes the values, goals and interests of her clients during treatment. In her free time, Justine enjoys theological study, filmmaking and working out at the gym.
