Stephanie is a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey who earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Paterson University followed by her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is bilingual (Spanish) and has experience working with diverse multicultural populations. She has experience with children, adolescents and adults in inpatient, outpatient and school settings. She has experience providing treatment to individuals with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, family and peer issues, self-esteem, stress management, life transitions, grief/loss and crisis and safety including suicidal ideations and self-harm.

Stephanie believes in creating an environment that makes individuals feel safe and judgement free in order for them to feel supported. She has experience using techniques from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person centered, and solution focused therapy.

In her free time Stephanie is into writing, arts & crafts, singing, playing piano, and guitar. She also loves to spend time outdoor with her two dogs.
