Tule Anita Chau, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined Integrative Psychology Services in March 2023. Anita’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Brandeis University, and a master’s degree in social work at Boston University School of Social Work. She also attained certificates in Trauma Informed Practice at the Simmons School of Social Work, and in Dementia Practice through NCCDP. Anita has worked with the aging population in various roles of health care for almost 15 years. She has worked in skilled nursing and rehab facilities and in home care, and worked closely with assisted living facilities.

Anita utilizes approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy, crises intervention, grief counseling, and mindfulness-based interventions to help her clients with adjustment to age-related difficulties, mental illness, chronic illness, disability, bereavement, and end of life issues. Anita has worked also worked with caretakers of loved ones who have chronic health issues, such as dementia, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and cardiac issues. She helps them cope with the psychosocial stress of caregiving and long-term planning.
